The Barracuda Wire by Southern Marsh is our most well thought out eyewear retainer, yet. We started out with a monofilament wire and curved it in the shape of a C. Then we attached fasteners to the wire, and created a ball-and-socket hinge on the temples. The hinge permits the wire to float freely and float up and down as you move about while staying off your neck. The breakaway ball-and-socket hinge also allows you to attach the wire to two different sized temples, quickly and easily so they can fit different sized temple stems.
